About Us

Senior Patrol Officer Maury Escher has served on the Atlanta Police Department for 35 years.  His desire to pursue a career in law enforcement began during his youth.  When watching television shows, he envisioned himself as a police officer going out to get the bad guys.  As a young adult, he thought more about the positive impact he could make by serving the public.  He eventually realized his childhood dream of becoming a police officer, and the rest is history. Officer Escher has been praised for his thorough, proactive, and detailed approach to crime prevention as well as for his keen investigative skills.
